If you’re feeling adventurous enough to enter Circus Circus, you’ll discover what Barnum & Bailey might’ve declared: The Greatest Steak on Earth! I know Circus Circus isn’t the first place that comes to mind for a nice steak dinner, but don’t judge a book by its cover. Or, in this case, a restaurant by its hotel. The Steak House is a big-time Vegas Winner.
Menu Prices

$95 for a 24oz rib eye may seem steep, but if you were to order the same size rib eye from a bougie steak restaurant on the Strip, all you’d get is a lonely steak on a plate. No bread basket, no sides, so soup, nada.
At The Steak House, the price of each steak includes:
- Bread basket
- Black bean soup or house salad
- Mashed potatoes, baked potato, or wild rice blend
- Grilled veggie
Food Highlights

The rib eye was fatty, tender, and cooked beautifully with the perfect amount of char. The rib eye comes in two sizes, but by paying $15 more, you get 50% more. Two people could easily share this 24oz steak meal. So go big or just go home. No, really! Go home and study a math book or something if you’re considering the 16oz over the 24oz.

Bread Basket
The bread basket was so delicious and arrived piping hot! Both the pretzel bread and mini French baguettes were perfection.
Garlic Mashed Potatoes vs Baked Potato
I liked the baked potato better. I wasn’t expecting the baked potato to be anything special, but it was the best-baked potato of my life. It comes with a generous amount of thick, crispy bacon bits. I wish they could change their name from The Steak House to The Potato House. But I get it, potatoes don’t pay the bills.
House Salad vs Black Bean Soup
I liked the soup better than the house salad. Plus, it’s something you can’t get anywhere else. They’ve served the same black bean soup for over 30 years for good reason.
Shrimp Cocktail

Dessert

My husband and I have birthdays about a week apart, so our server surprised us with cake. Sweet! I had my heart set on ordering their creme brulee, but after the chocolate cake, my tummy tapped out. I’ll getcha next time, bru.
Final Review

The Steak House did not disappoint. Not one bit. If anything, it exceeded my expectations, and I plan to return on as many Vegas trips as possible. Circus Circus hasn’t changed much since I was a kid, making The Steak House a true diamond in the rough.
Parking & Wayfinding

First off, free parking! FYI- the garage sometimes looks like an open garbage can, but again, it’s free parking. Follow signs to the self-parking garages. Enter garage 1 and park on level 3 for the closest casino-level access. Enter the building and take the escalators down to the casino level. From there, follow the signs to the Steak House restaurant.

Dress Code
The dress code on their website says “smart casual – no tank tops.” I dressed up the first time I went since it’s a steakhouse. But the next time I went, I wore a matching black sweatsuit set and didn’t feel out of place. Once you walk through Circus Circus, you’ll understand. It’s definitely a less dressy crowd than other steakhouses on the strip. Still not sure what to wear? Just put on your big meal pants, and you’ll be fine.
A Blast to the Past

The last time I visited Circus Circus was in the 80s, and it was awesome. There was an entire section dedicated to carnival games, making it feel like a casino for kids. Back then, my mom handed my brother and me some cash and set us loose for the night so she could gamble in the adult casino. Hey, hey! Before you judge, remember, this was the 80s when no one was required to wear seat belts.
